The registration process for the April session of JEE Main 2019 was concluded on March 7, 2019. The examination is scheduled to be held from April 7, 2019, to April 20, 2019, in 8 different sessions, from which candidates have to choose one. Candidates who had registered for the January session were also allowed to register for the April session of JEE Main examination. The candidates who have already appeared in JEE Main January leg can reappear in April session of the exam. The better of the two scores will be considered during rank calculation.
What After JEE Main 2019 Application?
JEE Main Admit Card for April session will be released on March 18, 2019. Candidates should download the admit card from the official website. It is to be noted that applicants will not be allowed to appear for the examination without the hall ticket. If you are an aspirant who has registered for the April session, here are the documents that you should keep safe until and after the examination –
- JEE Main 2019 application confirmation email by NTA and take a printout of the same.
- JEE Main Admit Card after it gets released on the official site of NTA.
- Passport size photographs, same as the one in the JEE Main 2019 application form.
- JEE Main login details – Application Number and Password.
How to Check Application Status for JEE Main 2019?
After you have successfully completed the application process and correction (if any) for JEE Main 2019, you can check on the official website. You can find the link ‘Application Form Progress’ on the official website and check the status of the following –

JEE Main 2019 Correction Feature
Like the previous year, students who have registered for JEE Main can avail the JEE Main Correction Window. For 2019 applicants, the Correction Window will be made online from March 11, 2019, until March 15, 2019. Candidates can modify or correct their application details within the stipulated time by paying a fee (for some fields).
You will need to keep a few documents at hand before you start accessing the correction window. The documents are as follows –
- JEE Main Application Number and Password (received after registration).
- Debit/Credit Cards or Net banking details for payment.
- Correct data for details that are to be rectified.
- Soft copy of images if you need to modify uploaded image.
How to Access JEE Main 2019 Correction Window?
- Visit jeemain.nic.in and go the link ‘Login for Correction in Application Form’.
- Enter login details and date of birth and click submit.
- Choose the fields that need to be modified or corrected and fill in with proper data.
- Verify the details and start the payment process (if required).
- Pay the correction fees via online payment mode.
- Submit the corrected or modified application form.
Details That are Allowed to be Modified
Not all fields are allowed to be rectified via the online correction window for JEE Main Application Form. The details that are allowed to be modified are –
- Name
- Photo/Image
- Paper
- Category
- Gender
- Language
- Aadhaar number
- Date of Birth
- Communication address
- Contact number
Candidates are needed to pay for the correction of the following fields –

Candidates will not be allowed to change the Centre of Examination and Mode of Examination via the online window. For JEE Main 2019, NTA will allow candidates registered for January session to access the Correction Window so that they can claim the EWS Quota (if applicable).
